16th December St Joe's Virtual Advent Calendar - Catholic Social Teaching
Today's act of Catholic Social Teaching focuses on the common good & preferential option for the poor. Year 6 & the Chaplaincy Team have been raising money for the Clifton Diocese Schools Project. We raised a fantastic £274.47. All the money raised will go towards helping to provide clean water resources and tree planting in Uganda.

Today's act of Catholic Social Teaching focuses on subsidiarity. The Chaplaincy Team have been inviting children to join their new Cafod Club. Cafod Club will give children the opportunity to contribute and have a voice. The pupils can lead the way, putting their faith into action.

Toy Sale
Starting tomorrow Year 6 & the Chaplaincy Team will be holding toy sales at playtimes. All the money raised will go to Clifton Diocese Schools Project -Uganda. Prices of the toys range from 50p to £2.50.

Our first act of Catholic Social Teaching is from our recent Red Wednesday event. We wore red to show solidarity with persecuted Christians throughout the world and especially those being persecuted in Nigeria.
