Lent prayer bags

To help us on our Lenten journey, children will be given the opportunity to take home prayer bags.

Two children in each class (Year 1-Year 6 ) will bring home a purple bag containing a prayer card, cloth, candle, some small shells, stones, a piece of sandpaper and a cross. We ask that a 'prayer area' be set up and as a family pray together. Each child will have the bag overnight. Please ensure it is brought back into school the next morning so as to enable each child to have a turn.

The Big Lent Walk

During our Lenten journey, we are taking on Cafod's 'The Big Lent Walk!'

Challenge yourself and take on 'The Big Lent Walk'. Walk 200Km in Lent to help fight global poverty! Walk when and where you choose over 40 days, alone or with friends. Raise money to help people as they overcome poverty.
