The Big Lent Walk

During our Lenten journey, we have been undertaking Cafod's 'The Big Lent Walk.' As a school, we walked around the playground to a combined distance of over 200km! The aim was to raise money to help fight global poverty. So far we have raised £237.33.

St Joseph decorations

As part of St Joseph's Day celebrations, Y5 & Y6 created wood decorations. They produced some stunning designs.

Year 6 gave one of their wood decorations as a gift to their Reception Class buddies.

St Joseph keyrings

As part of St Joseph's Day celebrations, the children drew pictures of St Joseph. These were turned into keyrings along with a prayer to St Joseph.

St. Joseph the refugee

For St Joseph's Day this year we focused on offering prayers and support to refugees. St Joseph himself was a refugee when the Holy Family fled to Egypt.

The children were invited to write prayers offering support to refugees. As part of a prayer & liturgy session these prayers were then placed under and around our sleeping St Joseph statue.
