Peace Day

Today for Peace Day, Year 6 studied refugees and built refugee tents to highlight the number of refugees fleeing war and persecution. In geography we looked at the location of wars since WW2.

Year 5 & Year 6 enjoying an afternoon down at the field.

Monopoly

This afternoon, Year 6 enjoyed a game of Monopoly. As well as being great fun, the game provided lots of opportunities to improve our maths such as money and calculation skills. We also found the meaning of the vocabulary in the game such as auction, rent and tax.
