Fishponds now and then

Today Year 5 used ICT to place old photos of Fishponds into modern day ones. The children have carefully matched up photos to create these stunning images for their 'Community' topic.

Comparing maps of our local community

Today Year 5 have been comparing maps of Bristol over time as part of their 'Community' topic. The children looked at maps of this area from the past through to the present (over 200 years) and saw how dramatically things had changed. They took on the very difficult task of transferring data from the newer maps onto the map from 1817 to show where the changes had been.

 We have begun our whole school topic -'Community'. 

Year 6 - An A to Z of St Joseph's

Year 6 have been thinking about their time at St Joseph's.  Together the class wrote an A to Z of the school.  They created animations and produced ideas to make the following video.
