Lent prayer bags

To help us on our Lenten journey, children will be given the opportunity to take home prayer bags.

Two children in each class (Year 1 - Year 6) will bring home a purple bag containing a prayer card, cloth, candle, some small shells, stones, a piece of sandpaper and a cross. We ask that a 'prayer area' be set up and as a family pray together. Each child will have the bag overnight. Please ensure it is brought back into school the next morning so as to enable each child to have a turn.

Celebration of the Word with Father Thomas

Today, for the Feast of Saint John Bosco, Father Thomas joined Year 6 for Celebration of the Word. We thought about how Saint John Bosco dedicated much of his life to education and the welfare of disadvantaged young people and how we can help others.
