World Water Day - Making Water Clocks

Today for World Water Day, Year 6 made water clocks. We were inspired by our topic work on the Ancient Greeks. Before the invention of clocks and watches they used water clocks called a clepsydra. The class was set the task of making a water clock that could time as close to one minute as possible. 

We thought about our school charity -Clifton Diocese Schools Project and how lucky we are to have clean running water.
