From the 16th June onwards classes will be taking part in a water walk for charity.
This will be
as part of the Year of Jubilee and another event to mark the centenary of St
Joseph’s Church.
The children
will be walking laps carrying a bottle of water they feel comfortable with but is
also a challenge. To mark the church’s centenary and to set a challenge, the
children will be aiming for 100 laps (as a class or group) of the field or
playground.
All the
money raised goes to our school charity the Emmaus (Clifton Diocese Schools)
project. This event will also bring an end to our charity work for this
project. Please if possible make a donation to this charity event by handing in
a donation with your child or there is an option to make a donation by School
Gateway. If you select ‘payments’ from the account and then from the payments
list choose: ’St Joseph’s Uganda Charity’.
